Finally results that can be noticed and that last

I've been postponing this post for some time now. I'm not trying to promote or criticize anything, but like I said in the first post, I will write about what I want and feel like is worth a penny, what should be tried, looked and felt ... Contrary to what could be expected, since I'm a pharmacist, the dermo cosmetic products that can be found in pharmacies never convinced me. Of course, there are, occasionally, products that are effective for particular purpose, but to use a certain range and feel differences ... never happened for me. And I tell you, I've given several opportunities to several laboratories. Almost every one of them, I'm telling you!

I think that's one of the reasons why I always have postponing the establishment of a skin care ritual. If the results weren't there, why continue? The brands found in perfume stores always looked better to me. More effective. Not all of them, because like some of you know, and others won't, some laboratories sell the same products with different brands depending on the channel of distribution, being pharmacies or perfume stores. With some brands of perfume stores I've noticed differences, but I also felt that my skin got "tired" of them quickly. So, I noticed a rapid improvement, but one that didn't maintain itself. Then, with the awareness for animal cruelty, with the search for less chemical components, I ventured myself in other brands, sold in self named stores. At first, the purchase had to be ordered online, there are no stores in Lisbon yet, except at the airport and for you to have access there, you need to go for a trip! I studied what there was to be studied and then I ordered what I wanted. I didn't like it. I've exchanged some messages with the brand trying to understand if I've could have made a better choice, but it didn't help much. I want to underline that in this post I'm only referring to products the skin of the face. (The right term would be facial care, but I do not like it!) The second brand I've decided to give a chance I've already used it for a while, a few years ago, when it wasn't available in Portugal yet. Being the industrial base the same as many pharmacy and perfumery products, I started with a foot back as soon as I read the "biological" description of the thing. Some of the products looked effective to me, but that thing I like, wearing everything from the same brand, didn't became possible. I am disciplined. I wash my face, apply a tonic, serum and moisturizer, I also apply masks ... anyway, I spend some time, I expect to see results. And lasting ones. I get irritated by the big named brands that have a lotion for the left eye, another for the right one, yet another for the outline of the mouth, one for the forehead... well, do you get what I mean? In addition to the classification of the skin as very dry, dry, normal, mixed, oily, very oily, makes me tired and who sells these things seems to have a well-rehearsed speech and effective as commercial, but little technical-scientific knowledge. I can't generalize! There are always exceptions. When I was reaching the end of the last products I have bought, I felt I've tried everything and wasn't satisfied with any of it. I wanted a simple "treatment". Basic, but effective. Impossible, isn't it? I didn't know what to do and, astonish yourselves, I decided to give the pharmacy another shot. I entered one I don't usual do...it happened, and well it did, because what I found isn't available everywhere yet and in another pharmacy, I would only have found the same old products and the same olds results... I must confess that what catch my eye was the branding very appealing, but that is not enough! It was a recently released brand: YOUTH LAB. I won't linger on the explanations about where they're from, philosophy and ingredients. You can get that information directly on their website or asking the brand/representatives, what I tried and gotten quick and nice replies. Once again I read everything about the products, and who made them, placed questions and ended up, although not completely convinced, giving it a try. I think it was the word metabolism that moved me. These were the products I bought.

To notice that they are suitable for all skin types, being an anti-wrinkle, that then can be supplemented with corrective creams adapted for specific skin types. And I oblige to the ritual morning and night. Always!

I love the smell and texture of most of them, being the anti-wrinkle without any smell. but I might prefer it that way, during the day is one less smell getting in the way of my perfume and by night it is quite nice to go to bed with the smell and sensation that the other creams provide me. Almost works like a lullaby for a sound night. For the younger skins, that are yet to need wrinkle preventers, I imagine that the scents are not disturbing for everyday life, as a matter of fact, I always make the combinations I feel like, and never has one scent bothered me, on the contrary. The truth is, I really feel a enormous difference in my skin. Better yet, people notice and comment on it. At one moment, I got to hear "what are you doing to your skin, it is extraordinary?" repeatedly! Is there anything better for a new product feedback? I've been using this brand for 7 months now, and I keep on noticing improvements and differences. For now, the skin is not tired of the creams. It has a better texture, a better colour, to the point that I'm founding myself less green! And no, it is not form the CC Cream I occasionally and surprisingly, I love too. In one of my visits to the pharmacy, for purchasing one of the products, I was with one of my nieces and she ended up taking home some samples, besides not having any skin care habits. Since then, she has bought the cleaning and moisturising, in her case different from mine, for having a oilier skin, she has created the rot of applying mornings and nights, and she too has noticed the differences. Even another nephew of mine the other day was complaining of dry skin, I gave a bit of moisturizer, he put it in his skin and said "it is really good!", but well, this was a moment thing, he has ever since not applied it again. I want to say that no one has given me anything to try out. I don't know anybody working with the brand. And, if you already met me, you know I don't work in the field. I only wanted to tell those like me, who feel that the market of dermo cosmetic is always the same, there may be at last a salvation!
